Legend:The Ahuizotl was named after a Aztec emperor who was said to be a pet for him. it was also said that these creatures lived underwater caves.
Myth: the Ahuizotl was believed to have taken it's victims eyes, nails, teeth and ate the preys flesh.

My opinion: It doesn't really look like a racoon. It has a beak and claws, the skull is shaped differently and the eyes are different, almost like a flightless 4 legged bird...
